I never thought of this before, but this blog post has made me dwell on the matter a bit. It’s something I’ve taken from granted. I wonder if anyone has a list of games that are colour blind friendly?
You may or may not know that I am red-green colorblind. Money looks grey to me, pink looks white, brown looks green. No big thing. Since I was born colorblind, I have no frame of reference for how the world is “supposed” to look and, therefore, I’m not constantly in a state of misery and woe over the fact that I can’t differentiate maroon from purple.

To raise his popularity, the YB (Yang Berhormat) launched a stamp featuring his portrait.
After one month…
YB: So, how was my stamp in the eyes of the public?
Postman: Good YB. It was very well received. But there’s one thing.. there are alot of complaints that the stamp doesn’t stick.
YB: Why doesn’t it stick? Let me take a look.
YB: See? It sticks very well.
Postman: But, they don’t lick the backs of the stamps.
Postman: They spit… erm… they lick the front of the stamps.Money can buy you prestige, but it cannot buy you integrity.
This election, vote for change.

Help feed the hungry by playing a word game… Freerice.com’s vocabulary game donates 10 grains of rice for every answer you get correct. Since starting on 7 October 2007, it has since pledged 2.6 billion grains of rice. What that means in terms of weight, I’m not too sure. “How is this rice sponsored?” I hear you ask, according to their FAQ it is paid for by sponsors, and the rice will be distributed by the United Nations World Food Program. So.. just head on over there.. even if it’s all a scam (which I doubt it is), you’ll still learn a thing or two about your English vocabulary.
As a follow up to what was posted about paper art last week… here’s something from Yamaha.

This is a cool site. And shows the fun side of Yamaha. Here, you can download paper templates to make 3D paper sculptures. I don’t think this is considered origami in the truest sense of the word, since origami is about folding, while this one involves gluing as well. I’ve tried and failed to create one of the bikes in the collection twice already. I just don’t have the patience for it. Maybe you do? Give it a shot! ![]()

If you only watch one poignant and pertinent video this week, please watch this.

I’m sure some of you would’ve seen this via email. I didn’t know where the images came from until today. You really need to check out Peter Callesen’s site. Some teasers below…
